Adult Wednesday nights have two options. Beginners are encouraged to join Alpha, a course designed to help people get a healthy start in the Gospel. For those who are ready to go beyond Alpha, Wednesdays also have Scuba, a new year-long cycle with the goal of forming deep, transformational relationships. Each week, participants are led into individual experiences with Jesus and also bond with three people through significant accountability. Our Kingdom Builders Family Ministry invites all Maywood members and friends to join in for this event! Children 8+ and their adults are encouraged to do some light cleanup volunteer work around the visitor's area from 8am-10am. Those who volunteer get a free pass to the zoo that day! After the volunteer time is over the rest of the family is encouraged to join in beginning at 10:30am for lunch at one of the pavilions in the parking lot of the zoo followed by admission to the zoo. For those not volunteering, lunch and zoo admission costs $5. Sign-ups are required by May 19!
